Amy Hughes

Amy is our Principle Dentist, Amy has been working within dentistry since 1998, where she started as a dental nurse. Her passion for dentistry grew and she went on to graduate as a dentist from Bristol University in 2013. 

Amy takes a holistic approach to dentistry getting to know the patient as well as their teeth. Anyone who has seen Amy before knows she likes to chat and to make her patients feel at ease. 

In Dentistry she carries out all aspects of General Dentistry, Anti-Wrinkle treatment and Invisalign teeth straightening. 

In her spare time she enjoys paddleboarding, walking her dog and relaxing with friends and family. 

Debbie Havard

- Practice Manager 111826 -

Debbie is our Practice Manager. Debbie has worked within Dentistry since 2002 where she started as a dental nurse, gaining her qualification in 2007. Debbie continued to progress by gaining further qualifications in Dental Radiography, Impression taking, Mental Health First Aid and NVQ in management amongst others. 

Debbie wants the patients to feel comfortable and confident in the treatment and service they receive at Tranquillo Dental Studio and will be sure to make a warm and welcoming environment for them.

In Debbie’s free time she enjoys walking, reading, travelling and spending time with friends, family and her foster children. 

Ellie Beswick

Ellie started her dental career by working and training as a dental nurse, she gained her dental nurse qualification in 2016. Ellie then decided to further her career and trained as a dental hygienist at the Eastman Dental Institute in London, qualifying in June 2018.

Ellie has worked in many dental practices over the years. She particularly loves to work with nervous patients, providing oral hygiene advice and gum treatments to better their oral health. She is known to be super gentle and has a calm manner, which helps by putting patients at ease and gaining their confidence in the dental setting. 

Ellie has recently relocated to the Midlands with her family. In her spare time, she loves to play netball, travel and trying out new restaurants. She also likes to take her little girl to baby Ballet. Ellie has recently had a baby boy and is enjoying spending time with her family.

Grace Mason

- Hygienist 211011 -

Grace qualified as a Hygienist at the University of Essex in 2014. Prior to this she worked as a Dental Nurse after leaving school.

Her favourite part of her work is talking to patients, maybe as her favourite thing to do in general is talking! She tries to make patients as comfortable as possible in her care and put them at ease, hopefully changing their perception of a 'visit to the Hygienist'.

Outside of work she loves going on holidays and spending time with family. 

Sukhvinder Atthi

- Dentist 74326 -

Dr Atthi currently works part time at Birmingham Dental Hospital in Oral Surgery and as a clinical lecturer at the University of Birmingham. Dr Atthi also holds a Tier II accreditation in Oral Surgery. 

He is passionate about helping patients of all ages build faith and trust in dentistry and he takes immense pleasure assisting them on their journey to improve their smile and gain confidence.

Outside of Dentistry Sukhvinder regularly volunteers for his local charity and enjoys travelling with his family. 

Sukhvinder also loves spending time with his friends.

Nicki

- Dental Nurse 295491 -

Nicki is one of our Registered Dental Nurses. She began her dental nursing career after leaving school and worked at the same practice for a number of years. 

After working in various industries Nicki returned to dental nursing in 2018 and went on to gain her dental radiography qualification in 2023. 

Her favourite part of the job is helping anxious patients through their treatment journey. You will find her enjoying a sing and dance whilst she's working.

Outside of work Nicki enjoys socialising with friends and family and is currently learning to play golf.

Alita 

- Receptionist -

Alita is our receptionist, she has worked within the profession and public services for the past 16 years.

Alita is Cheerful, approachable and understanding. Alita will make you feel welcome and put you at ease as soon as you come through the door.

Outside of work she loves to cook, travel and experience different cultures and their foods!

Sue 

- Dental Nurse 108068 -

Sue is a registered Dental Nurse with a wealth of experience. She gained her Dental Radiography qualification in 2010. She has worked in general practices in and around the area so you may recognise her friendly face.

Sue's favourite part of being a dental nurse is spending time getting to know patients, having a chat with them and making sure that they are at ease when they visit the practice.

Outside of work, Sue has recently become a first time Nanny to a beautiful little girl. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and watching crime drama's.
